During an Outbreak

When to Apply:

First application MUST begin as soon as there are signs an outbreak is occurring such as: burning, tingling, itching, or redness of skin, blisters, small red or white bumps, rash, or areas of the skin sensitive to the touch. The sooner you respond, the smaller the area impacted will be and thus the less time it will take to heal!

How to Apply:

• If hair is long, to prevent it from interfering during treatment, before applying, trim hair away from area where outbreak is occurring. Next, dip tip of index finger (finger next to thumb) into solution and begin messaging a dime size amount into area where outbreak is occurring, until fully absorbed.  If area is large and more is needed, use a different finger this time (middle finger, etc.), so that you don't contaminate the jar.  To prevent infected area from coming into contact with clothing, use a large, loose fitting Band-Aid.  If using finger to apply, be sure to wash hands immediately after applying!  If using a rubber glove to apply, discard glove in trash bin outside the home, to prevent spreading the disease. 

How Often to Apply:

• During an outbreak, apply 3 times a day, morning, noon and before bedtime, until the outbreak has stopped and it’s apparent the healing process has begun, which is typically 3 to 5 days, but could be longer depending on the severity of your condition.  Some signs that the area has started to heal are:
  • Area impacted stops enlarging and instead begins to decrease in size.
  • Blisters stop growing and start getting smaller.
  • Itching has stopped.
  • Natural skin color is coming back.
  • A scab has formed.
• Don't be fooled! The virus or bacteria you’re dealing with is very aggressive and will not go away without a fight, so continue to use Norasil, until you are absolutely sure the fight is over and that the body is truly on its way to a complete recovery.
